What assumptions are made about my vehicle?
- We will inspect your vehicle. Our price offer may change if we think it is affected by the vehicle's condition or history.
- It has no damage, including interior or mechanical.
- It isn't a non runner.
- It has 6+ months MOT left.
- It hasn't been declared as an insurance write-off or damaged in an accident.
- It has two sets of keys.
- It has full manufactures service history.
How long is my valuation valid for?

Vehicle values change all the time, therefor Your valuation is guaranteed for 4 days only.

What should I expect at my appointment?

All appointments are free, with no obligation to sell. See below a step-by-step schedule for your appointment:

Arrive with your vehicle at your chosen Berry retailer branch location at your agreed appointment. Stephen McCann will be waiting to greet you.

You can accompany our purchaser while your vehicle is inspected. This includes a short test drive where the purchaser will move the vehicle several meters forwards and backwards.

You will be offered a price for your car.

If you do decide to sell your car, our purchaser will run through all the relevant paperwork with you and arrange for money to be paid into your chosen bank account. The paperwork to be completed includes:
- Notifying the DVLA of the sale to allow you to receive a road tax refund
- Updating the vehicle logbook (V5C)
- Paying any outstanding finance using an in date settlement letter.
If you do decide to sell your car, please ensure that you have made arrangements for your return journey.

*We always carry out an on-site inspection of a vehicle before we offer to buy it. If we consider that its value is affected by any aspect of its history or condition, including any unusual feature or customisation, which was not apparent to us when we gave the valuation over the phone or email, the price that we offer for it will differ from the original valuation. We reserve the right to refuse to purchase your vehicle if it does not meet our requirements.
